Power does strange things to people. Married people are in a better position to be powerful people. Power feeds off itself. Bill and Hill are each more powerful individuals because they are married. Although Hill has become more powerful and Bill has almost gotten lost in her shadow.





A woman who stays with a cheating lout of a husband, no matter who does a great disservice to her children. Such a woman tells her daughters ';you just gotta suffer through it, endure it, grit your teeth, and hope and pray he doesn't give you an STD.'; It tells a girl she is better off with a lout than no man.





It tells a boy its okay to cheat on your wife because, ';look at mommy, she didn't do anything.';





Chelsea is a young woman who grew up with power hungry, striving and clawing their way to the top parents. Hopefully she has seen more normal families as she grew up and realized she doesn't have to be a doormat - albeit a powerful doormat in order to be successful. Hopefully she won't marry a lout like her father.
