Steak! Guys love steak. But, if you're not gonna cook it on a grill, don't bother.Tonight is my husband's birthday. Can you think of something delicious to prepare for dinner?
Roast Chicken Breasts with Parsley Pan Gravy








2 chicken breast halves (with skin and bones; about 20 ounces)





1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning





1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces





1 tablespoon all purpose flour





1/3 cup canned low-salt chicken broth





1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley











Directions





Preheat oven to 475掳F. Using fingers, loosen skin on chicken breast. Rub half of poultry seasoning under skin of each breast. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place skin side up in 11x7-inch metal baking pan. Dot chicken with butter. Roast until cooked through, about 25 minutes. Transfer chicken to plate.





Place pan with juices over burner on medium heat. Add flour; stir until golden, about 30 seconds. Whisk in broth. Bring to boil, whisking until mixture thickens, about 2 minutes. Add parsley. Season with salt and pepper.

Well it would help if you said what his favorite type of food he like. Mexican? Italian? Chinese?





Or just make his favorite and decorate the table with your best stuff and flowers and candles and linens. In a long run, it's the thoughts and effort that really gets them.





Even make it like a theme is fun. Asian theme with tea and fortune cookies (say the fortune and end the sentence with ';in bed';). Or Mexican with tortillas and margaritas.





But if you must do something different. Google some recipes. There are so many to choose and all yummy. Depend what you are looking for. or go to the book store and write down a couple of recipes from the book.
Easy Chicken Marsala





1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts


4 oz fresh mushrooms


1 clove garlic


1/2 c Marsala wine


1/2 c chicken broth


1 TBS butter








1. clean %26amp; pat dry chicken breast


2. cook chicken breasts in a little olive oil until just done, remove from pan


3. slice mushrooms %26amp; mince garlic


4. saute mushrooms %26amp; garlic in a little olive oil


5. add wine %26amp; chicken broth


6. cook on med. heat approx. 20 minutes, or until liquid is reduced by half


7. turn off heat and mix butter


8. arrange chicken on plate, pour sauce over top





Serve with salad and french bread
Baked ziti, garlic bread, green beans, and salad, with a bottle of his favourite red wine. Tell him happy birthday.
