How should a husband behave during the deliveryof hisbaby?

Ask your wife. Her opinion is the only one that matters. =)How should a husband behave during the deliveryof hisbaby?
every man is differant mine was excited, nervous, happy and a little bit annoying but supportive (like when i had contraction) but he was great i'm glad he was thereHow should a husband behave during the deliveryof hisbaby?
Your question answered plus lots more information at this website --%26gt; http://ampheek.com/babybounty.htm
From my experience only, I would say that the perfect situation would be a man that can totally read his wife's needs, and act on them. He should know when to stay and help her count, hold her legs for her, and also go the XXX away when she needs him to.

Maybe he could give her sips of water, or wipe her forhead. Oh, I have got it!!!: He should get on all fours and pass a watermelon out his butt right along side of her. :)
Do WHATEVER she tells you to do.....lol~~!!! Be supportive too!
There is no special way to behave. Do what comes naturally and be supportive of mom
just stay calm and cool
HAHA mines face got all flushed. The doctor showed him the top of the baby's head and he had to leave the room for a minute. But then he came back, cut the cord, then cried. Sooooooo sweet.

Oh... And dont be annoying cos she'll wanna rip ur head off. Trust me its good advice..
There is no set way to behave during a delivery. I didn't think that my husband would make it, but he surpirsed everyone, and was great. Just keep calm if you can.
help out with it and try not to pass out. help you stay calm
Like a pasty white, rubber legged lunatic screaming in pain because She's breaking your hand with her labor enhanced grip .... at least that's the summarized version of what my mother told me. The tears depend on whether or not she actually breaks your hand or how often she tells you it's all your fault and you'll never be allowed to touch her again.
well, i don't know how they should act, but i can tell you how mine acted

he turned green and ran for ice

ha ha, really though, he did lol
Stay calm, reassure her, and do whatever she asks.
Do whatever the hell she screams at you to do.. stay calm, and for God's sake, don't pass out... she really needs you awake.
However he wants -- Be cool, be excited, be nervous, be foolishly overprotective of his wife -- just be there!
Well I have to tell you I was there the whole time during all 4 of our children's births. I helped my wife with the delivery, cut the cord, made sure they didn't switch the babies, accidental, and overall had fantastic experiences, I wouldn't trade these memories of the miracle of life for anything....
