im not married but i live with my daddy. we spend about $500 a month on groceries. i usually by food daily because i usually don't know what i want for dinner until i crave it that day...so on dinner i usually spend $10-15 and have a delicious home cooked meal. my dad's not home for breakfast and lunch and i usually just have a afternoon snack. so the $500 is just for dinner and desserts.How much do you spend on groceries per month for a family consisting of only a wife and husband?
My son lives in Seattle, Wa and the prices are outrageous. We went grocery shopping and he spent like $150.00 for one week of groceries. One 8 ounce can of tomato sauce was 79 cents. I can buy 4 cans for $1.00. He bought one small pack of 4 pork chops, mainly because I was visiting him, that was almost $10.00. He mostly bought bottled water, juices, some bananas, milk, some canned goods and granola bars. As I said before, that's outrageous.

Which is CRAZY!
I go once a week and spend anywhere from 50 to 70. It's just me and my finance. Although, my finance drinks liquids like a camel so I buy ALOT of water, soda, and juice and that gets expensive.

i have a teen. but i spend 150.oo a week on gas, geoceries, and household(soap, laundry soap, tp etc) for the 3 of us.
about 150-200 per month but alot of what i buy goes to waste because we dont use it depends were u live and where u shop wow 300 for 2 thats a lot.
We spend around $200 every two weeks... so that'd be $400 per month.
We do have a few cats and a dog and their food/litter can end up eating into the cost a bit.
